Information for Staff

The Classified Staff and District Admin resource for EAP info below:

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

Through SISC, all employees of member districts and those that live in their household are eligible for EAP through Anthem Blue Cross.  There is a wide range of services that are available, including but not limited to Counseling, Work/Life Services, Financial, Legal and Identity Monitoring and Recovery, just to name a few.  The toll free number is 888-999-7222 or visit the web at www.anthemeap.com, Login – SISC.  Also, you can visit the Wellness Programs in the Benefits Department tab for more information on the RESIG website (www.resig.org)

Health Coverage Information

With the current devastating wildfires impacting so many in Northern California, I wanted to provide this reminder that SISC members may access physicians through telehealth services.  With telehealth, members may access a physician by telephone or video.  Telehealth can be an alternative to urgent care or in-person doctor visits, and the physicians can prescribe medications following phone/video visits when appropriate.

Kaiser Permanente Members:  Video and telephone physician visits are available.  Call member services at the phone number listed on your ID card: 800-464-4000.  Visit  kp.org/mydoctor/videovisits for more information.

SISC PPO Plan Members (Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield)

Video and telephone physician visits are available through MDLive, call 800-667-6169. Visit MDLive.com/SISC for more information. Please note the average wait time for consultations related to general health conditions is just minutes.  Behavioral Health consultations require scheduling.

SISC PPO member copay is $5 for non-HSA plan members; HSA (high deductible plan) members will pay the full cost of the televisit until their deductible is satisfied.
