Suicide Prevention Information

Suicide Prevention Training

A new California law requires that students in grades 7-12 receive suicide prevention training at school.  During the 2017-18 school year, this training will be provided to Hillcrest 7th and 8th graders by a specialist from the California Parenting Institute.  The trainings will take place over two class periods and will include the following topics: mental health, warning signs, resources for support and intervention.
